The first unmanned Self Service Gate is brought into operation at Cargo Service Multipurpose Terminal in the port of Aarhus, Denmark.

The Self Service Gate is one of the elements in InPorts OnSize Solutions. Like all modules in the OnSize packet, the Self Service Gate is a SaaS, (Software as a Service), solution. You only need a PC with an Internet connection to use the programs.
The solution implemented at Cargo Service uses touch screens and gate interchange printers. The gate is equipped with cameras and barriers which are both controlled by the Self Service Gate.
In the Cargo Service implementation, containers and trailers are booked in advance by the local liner agents using InPort OneStop Booking. The terminal operates with InPort TOS, known as PIC, Port Information Centre.
It is a “keep it simple” solution. It can be enhanced by various kinds of user identifications and recognition.
By keeping it simple, InPort offers an efficient and affordable solution that is scalable to fit both small and larger terminals. Just the right sized solution for your business - this is why we call it OnSize.
