Gävle Stuveri AB focuses on a complete EDI and Internet solution from InPort for its future container venture!

January 1st 2008 Gävle Stuveri AB begins extensive container traffic between the Granudden terminal and European ports with the shipping company Team Lines as the main actor.

In this relation, the Gävle Stuveri and InPort entered into an agreement on delivering a modern and quality assured logistics system for containers.

With this solution Gävle Stuveri AB will be able to offer both operators and agents a complete and modern electronic service for container logistics.

The solution includes bookings, discharge and loading lists to be received via EDI. Furthermore, it is included that receipts on gate movements and discharge and loading reports are created electronically and in real time.

Gävle Stuveri will also be able to offer its customers depot status tracking of containers, movements etc. The solution is developed and fully implemented at prominent container ports in Scandinavia.

The integration will take place with Korsnäs production system for stuffing. Truck terminals based on wireless technology are also included.
